Imazo Ab is situated in Sweden. It has a very good reputation throughout the Northern Europe. It operates mainly as a wholesaler with wide variety of products from the pet business. "Fina Fisken" is one of their private brand names, under which they sell frozen fish food.

Fina Fisken Frozen Blood worms (Rödä Mygglarver)

If your fish have very finicky taste, there is still one food that may do its job. Blood worms and particularly red ones are so very sought after food, that it may drive your fish grazy. Very small fish can not eat it, but some hobbyists use grate to crush blood worms. However frozen blood worm is allergenic to humans, causing itching and irritation on skin and eyes. Hands must be washed carefully. Fina Fisken Blood worms is a quality product, that does not contain surplus water. It is very easy to divide into pieces.

Sold in 100g bars. Often 10*100g parcel is sold for discounted price.

SINKING SPEED:
Usually sinks quite fast (within a minute). If Blood worms are defrosted they may float longer.


Fina Fisken Frozen Cyclops

Cyclop is a small freshwater copepod and it can be used to feed smaller fish and baby fish.

Crude fat 0,8%
Carbohydrates 1,0%
Ash 3,2%

VARIETIES AND PRICE LEVEL:
100g bar, which costs usually about 4-5 €,

APPETITE:
Young fish eat this more eagerly.

SINKING SPEED:
Usually sinks slowly. Sinking can be helped with hand etc..

Fina Fisken Bosmider and Daphnier (Daphnia)

Both products are Cladocera species. They are very tiny and therefore can be fed to small fry.

Carbohydrates 1,0%

Bosmider:
Crude protein 5,2%
Crude fat 1,5%
Carbohydrates 0,4%

VARIETIES AND PRICE LEVEL:
100g bar, which costs usually about 3-4 €.

APPETITE:
All fish eat these with good appetite.

SINKING SPEED:
Usually sinks fast.

Fina Fisken Dafnier (Daphnia) amd Bosmider are sold in 100g packages.

This Pygmy Cory (Corydoras pygmaeus) is only 3cm long and it has great difficulties in eating Blood worm.
Cyclops may be better option for it.

Fina Fisken frozen food is always easy to dose.


Hognose Brochis (Brochis multiradiatus) has very selective eating habits. It usually accepts only Artemia, eggs of the other fish and Blood worms. To keep these fish healthy is vitamin addition necessary.

Frozen cyclops can be melted by mixing them with tap water in a small cup. 
A good quality frozen food stimulates smaller Corydoras species to spawn. This youngster (C. hastatus) is only 14mm long.
